I am a recent graduate of Tennessee Tech University. I graduated with a major in English as a Second Language.
Experience
I want to be an ESL/ELL tutor because I believe that advanced English skills are the key to success here in the United States. There is more opportunity when one knows English. While in college, I lived in the International Dorm on my campus. I got to tutor students there by reading their papers and doing conversational practice with them. As they progressed in their skills, their confidence grew. I am certified to teach anywhere from Pre-Kindergarten to Adult. I have also tutored people with Special Needs.
