Graduated in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Studied abroad in Wellington, New Zealand, for a semester from Feb-June 2004. My classes were: Graphic Design, Illustration, Printmaking and Sculpture. I am now a serial entrepreneur. My education of design, photography and brand strategy in the real world has continued ever since!
Experience
My passion is helping others reach their full potential. I have 17+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer & Brand Strategist. My focuses for tutoring are: art & design theory; Adobe Creative Cloud (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign); brand identity development; design for print and web; photography; creative problem-solving; and general computer skills. In regards to tutoring experience, I've led creative workshops, built and led a volunteer media team in Australia and worked one-on-one coaching design interns in Uganda, East Africa. I see tutoring as an excellent way to help college students succeed in their studies and step into their professional future with confidence.

I'm a creative through and through. I have spent much of my 40 years living in the world of graphic design, photography and brand strategy. Having been to over 30 countries (and lived on 3 different continents), I am slightly obsessed with traveling and cultures. I'm a wife, mom, swimmer, ping-pong enthusiast & tea drinker. Carpe diem!
