Education
Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Texas-Austin. Bachelors in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of New Mexico-Albuquerque. Currently a postdoc researcher in the Knoxville area.
Experience
Previous Teaching Experience: Teaching assistant for Physical Chemistry (thermodynamics) for 8 semesters. Tutored 6-8th grade math and science courses for two years. Published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. I've tutored elementary to college level students in math, physical sciences, and writing and I pride myself on coming up with new, interesting ways to explain material. I find that students often just need to hear about a topic from a different perspective to make things click.
