Experience
I was a student tutor at Clemson University. I was paid to tutor fellow students and athletes in math and accounting. Though I've worked in corporate finance and managing non-profits, my first love has always been writing, so I am working on my Masters in English. I plan to teach at a community college, which is why I am looking for more experience tutoring students in reading comprehension and writing composition. I've nannied for several families and often helped children ages 3- middle school with educational activities, homeschool work or homework. I edit research papers and creative writing for friends who are fellow writers and students.

My favorite past times are reading, hiking/backpacking the Appalachian Trail, growing food, playing music (mandolin). I love being outside and spending time with friends eating good food, canning, listening to music and traveling. I've lived in Vermont, New Mexico, England, North Carolina, and now Tennessee. I've traveled all over the United States and much of Europe. I love learners of all ages. I believe everyone is a writer and has stories and ideas to share. I believe everyone can enjoy reading, sometimes readers need help connecting to their own stories to discover enjoyment in the stories of others.
